History:

Rose City Manufacturing was named to honor the great grandfather of the owners and his brother who owned and operated a large mail order floral business from 1872 through 1938. The company was known as "The McGregor Brothers Company" and specialized in growing roses. During this time there was a high concentration of floral businesses in the area and for many years Springfield was known as the "Rose City".
